NeoBookDBPro provides NeoBook authors with the ability to quickly add advanced features, professional database applications. NeoBookDBPro can be used to create and manage any type of database from an address book of simple flat file to a complex application, multi-user client-server.
NeoBookDBPro uses ODBC, and ADO to access a variety of formats of database, including Microsoft Access, MySQL, SQLite, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Paradox, dBase, and more. In fact, when properly configured with the correct ODBC driver, NeoBookDBPro can be used for any type of database access.
Browse and modify tables in the database on the screen, or use of NeoBookDBPro behind the scenes to store and retrieve information. The data can be viewed as free or custom grid formats. Easy to use including add, modify, delete, sorting/index, query, import, export, print, display lists of values, custom field in the form and more. Includes advanced support for image/blob, stored procedures fields, lookup tables, multi-user and access to SQL commands. NeoBookDBPro protects you from the complexity of the SQL, without sacrificing functionality. However, if you want to use SQL, NeoBookDBPro provides an option to do so.
The included report designer provides NeoBookDBPro users the possibility of creating a variety of advanced database reports. Report Designer uses an interface resembling NeoBook allowing reports to create interactive using simple drag and drop commands.
The appearance, the formatting and placement of data is completely customizable. Advanced reports can be designed to print address labels, lists, invoices, forms of Office complete with graphics and more. Finished reports can be previewed and printed from your publication of NeoBook compiled using data from the live database!
